(THSP Classic Episode!) Season 2: Episode 20: That Black Christmas Holiday Special!
(THSP Classic Episode!) Originally recorded Tuesday December 13th, 2016 with a original air date of December 20th, 2016.
Happy Holidays, fans! That Horror Show Podcast is back with a very special Christmas-themed episode for you horror movie lovers out there. Yes, the Christmas tree is up with all the trimmings, the stockings are hung by the fireplace, and the eggnog with an extra pinch of brandy is ready to be consumed. And yes, that annoying little ‘Elf on the Shelf’ has been tied up and locked in the closet where he should be! Anyways, join in on the festivities as hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig review two holiday horror movies: “Black Christmas” and…well, "Black Christmas”. That’s right, Tim and Chris sing their praises over the Bob Clark classic “Black Christmas” (1974), as well as offer their grievances over Glen Morgan’s remake “Black Christmas” (2006).
But wait, there’s more: Tim and Chris also offer their favorite non-horror themed Christmas movies. Listen in as Chris talks a bit about his holiday favorites “Bad Santa” (2003), “Scandal” (1950) and “Larceny Inc.” (1942), while Tim reveals his holiday pleasures “The Long Kiss Goodnight” (1996), “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” (1989) and “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946). Consider this little segment a hybrid of the ‘What Have We Watched’ segment that you all know and love (and, in case if you are wondering, we will be bringing that segment back for next year’s episodes, we promise!).
