Hey there, horror fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you an episode of epic proportions. How epic, you say? Well, It's so epic that it spans not one, not two, but three episodes all dedicated to the wild cienmatic career of Herschell Gordon Lewis, the marketing advertising guru who introduced the special four-letter word 'gore' to the drive-in silver screen way-back when such a concept was unheard of!
For Part 1 of this episode, strap in and listen as your faithful hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig talk about three films in Lewis' filmography that are now known as the 'The Blood Trilogy': "Blood Feast" (1963), "Two Thousand Maniacs!" (1964) and "Color Me Blood Red" (1964). and don't worry for we have more Herschell Gordon Lewis madness on the way; after all this epsiode isn't labeled Part 1 for nothing.

Hey there, horror fans! That Horror Show Podcast is back to bring you another new episode. And, boy oh boy, this one is a doozy, folks! For this episode, we decided to hop in our time machine, venture back in time to 1970s New York City and find two horror movies playing in one of the 42nd Street grindhouses. So join hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig as they walk down the grimy streets of The Deuce and catch a zonked-out double-feature of “The Headless Eyes” (1971) and “I Drink Your Blood” (1971). Do these two demented gory shockers make a good pairing for the hosts? Well, fans, you gotta’ listen to find out!
But, wait: there’s more! This episode marks the return of the ever-so-in-demand ‘What Have We Watched’ segment! Sorry for the long wait, but we told you it was coming back. Listen in as Chris Koenig keeps his sleazy side in-check with his take on oh-so wrong “Love Camp 7” (1969), while Timothy Kazda expresses his displeasure with “How to Be Single” (2016).
Plus the debut of THSP Spotlight, with special guest Tori Danielle! and the return of the mailroom.

And yes, we have some interesting episodes lined up for this year, but let’s take it one step at a time and get right down to this month’s episode first.
For this episode, Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have booked a flight to check out three horror films from around the world. Strap in as the dynamic duo jets off to Australia to watch “Wolf Creek” (2005), then they fly to Sweden to catch a screening of “Let the Right One In” (2008), and then last they book a last minute trip to Thailand for “Long Weekend” (2013). Are these three movies worth getting jet-lag over? Well, fans, you’ll have to tune in and find out for yourselves.

Happy Holidays, fans! That Horror Show Podcast is back with a very special Christmas-themed episode for you horror movie lovers out there. Yes, the Christmas tree is up with all the trimmings, the stockings are hung by the fireplace, and the eggnog with an extra pinch of brandy is ready to be consumed. And yes, that annoying little ‘Elf on the Shelf’ has been tied up and locked in the closet where he should be! Anyways, join in on the festivities as hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig review two holiday horror movies: “Black Christmas” and…well, "Black Christmas”. That’s right, Tim and Chris sing their praises over the Bob Clark classic “Black Christmas” (1974), as well as offer their grievances over Glen Morgan’s remake “Black Christmas” (2006).
But wait, there’s more: Tim and Chris also offer their favorite non-horror themed Christmas movies. Listen in as Chris talks a bit about his holiday favorites “Bad Santa” (2003), “Scandal” (1950) and “Larceny Inc.” (1942), while Tim reveals his holiday pleasures “The Long Kiss Goodnight” (1996), “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” (1989) and “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946). Consider this little segment a hybrid of the ‘What Have We Watched’ segment that you all know and love (and, in case if you are wondering, we will be bringing that segment back for next year’s episodes, we promise!).

Gobble, gobble, horror fans! Yes, That Horror Show Podcast has once again unleashed a bonus episode for this November. Last year, hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig endured the God-awful “horror-comedy” wannabie “ThanksKilling” (2009), so they decided it was time to review yet another horrible turkey of a horror movie that had them wishing they could get their hour-and-a-half of their time back. And what better way than to express rage, anger, frustration, and laughs over the movie than by talking about it for all to hear. But, instead of telling you ahead of time what the movie is on the synopsis, we decided not mention the title at all: consider this a “mystery title” (though, if you listened to our first Thanksgiving bonus episode you might know what the mystery is) and if you are really interested in knowing what the movie is then tune in to find out. And joining us at the Thanksgiving table as ‘special guest star’ is none other than Dave Rodriguez of the show ‘Sequel This!’ to help provide enough merriment and mirth to help us get thru this episode! So listen in and get ready to laugh...well, hopefully!

Hey there, fans! That Horror Show Podcast is back to unleash a new episode for this November and, boy, is it a doozy. Once again, the show’s hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig take a break from talking about the mainstream and reach back into the dusty vaults to find some movies that are a little more obscure, a little more unusual and, yes, a little more weird. Luckily, we managed to find three titles that caught our attention, as they are all helmed by minor cult director Jose Ramon Larraz! Never heard of him, you say? That’s okay; like we said, he’s a minor cult director…but, that doesn’t mean we can’t do a retrospective on them. Plus, it’s our show, so we can do whatever the hell we want!
So tune in and listen as the show’s dynamic duo tackles the recently unearthed horror-thriller “Symptoms” (1974), the more established “Vampyres” (1974), and the odd mix of sex-and-witchcraft (with the inclusion of a black goat added for, err, “good measure”…don’t ask!) of “Black Candles” (1982; also known as “Hot Fantasies”, or also known under its original Spanish title “Los Ritos Sexuales de Diablo”)! Sadly, there is no ‘What Have We Watched’ segment this time, but don’t worry for we’ll bring it back soon, we swear!

Hey there, fans! That Horror Show Podcast has tackled many horror movies, ranging from variety of subjects like a bloodthirsty Great White shark that managed to show up in three so-so sequels (the less said about the third and fourth film, the better!), any slasher film involving a masked psychopathic killer (and believe me, we got a lot more coming down the line), some Alfred Hitchcock classics, and a foul-mouthed murderous Thanksgiving turkey (referring to both the bird and the movie itself). But now, your hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have decided to head past the stratosphere and beyond our own galaxy to explore the science fiction/horror genre.
There’s no ‘What Have We Watched’ segment (“Boo!”, “Hiss!”), but we have made up for that with three sci-fi/horror films that certainly fit the bill with this episode. So tune in as the show’s hosts chat a bit about the vampire opus “Lifeforce” (1985), the stalk-and-slash antics of “Jason X" (2001) and the dark isolation of “Pandorum” (2009). Do these films deliver the goods? Listen in to find out!

Hey there, horror fans! That Horror Show Podcast hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig bring you a very special “bonus episode” for this month. Taking a short break from discussing horror films involving crazed killers or any form of bodily dismemberment, your hosts decided to head to their local movie theatre to check out none other than the 2016 remake (or “reboot”, depending on how you want to look at the definition) of “Ghostbusters”. That’s right: after hearing so much about the controversy and the mixed reactions over the film, your dedicated hosts decided to get in on the action and check the movie out. And what’s Tim and Chris’ reaction towards the new version? Well, silly, you have to listen to the episode in order to find out.
So sit back, relax and listen in as Tim and Chris talk a little about the original 1984 version (as well as grumble a bit about the 1989 sequel), offer their thoughts over the whole remake/reboot “controversy” stirred up by on-line fandom, and then finally delve into a review of the new version and offering their thoughts and criticism.
