Welcome back to season two of  That Horror Show Podcast! We hope that you enjoyed your Christmas and holiday break. In this episode, Tim and Chris cover many topics starting with the recent passing of horror and entertainment icons from 2015 and so far in 2016.
 
They follow by discussing what they have been viewing over their extended break, like "The Walking Dead", "Fear The Walking Dead", "Better Call Saul", "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens", "Daddies Home", "Sisters", "St. Vincent" and more.
 
Then they head into their "What We Watched" segment by flipping on the old boob tube. Chris gives his thoughts and feelings on "Horrible Bosses 2" (2014) while Tim reviews a film based on a true story called "Unbroken" (2014).
 
Finally, Tim and Chris bring you their "hearts" on a silver platter for the main course.  They discuss the original film "My Bloody Valentine" (1981) and, because the guys love to give, they also cover a second film, "My Blood Valentine 3-D" (2009).

They also discuss Paul Feig’s reboot of Ghostbusters and the reboot of the German film Violent Shit.  They then head into their “What We Watched” segment where Chris tries not to get “Left Behind” (2014) with his review while Tim takes you on a “Stakeout” (1987) with his review.  We hope you enjoy a little taste of the 1980’s with this episode.

That Horror Show Podcast has tackled many horror movies, ranging from variety of subjects like a bloodthirsty Great White shark that managed to show up in three so-so sequels (the less said about the third and fourth film, the better!), any slasher film involving a masked psychopathic killer (and believe me, we got a lot more coming down the line), some Alfred Hitchcock classics, and a foul-mouthed murderous Thanksgiving turkey (referring to both the bird and the movie itself). But now, your hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have decided to head past the stratosphere and beyond our own galaxy to explore the science fiction/horror genre.
There’s no ‘What Have We Watched’ segment (“Boo!”, “Hiss!”), but we have made up for that with three sci-fi/horror films that certainly fit the bill with this episode. So tune in as the show’s hosts chat a bit about the vampire opus “Lifeforce” (1985), the stalk-and-slash antics of “Jason X" (2001) and the dark isolation of “Pandorum” (2009). But fear not: yout cheery hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have managed to bring 'special guest podcaster' Dave Rodriguez to join them in reviewing none other than "Santa Jaws" (2018), the Sci-Fi Channel's take on mixing Lifetime holiday specials with an extra dose of grade-Z horror! Tune in and listen as Dave reads you his own synopsis of the film, and bask in the hilarity that ensues. So hang that mistletoe, get those gifts wrapped, make sure that egg nog is spiked with plenty of brandy, and give this episode a spin!

What up, fans! That Horror Show Podcast has finally reached the finish line in regards to their Empire Pictures retrospective! How the hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig managed to do it without losing their minds and survive the ordeal for an entire year is a miracle unto itself. It's another triple-feature of late 1980s productions from the legendary Charles Band: the sci-fi/fantasy "Arena" (1988) that plays like 'Rocky in Outer Space'; the non-epic flop "Transformations" (1988) which proves in space there are STD's; and the mildly entertaining but somewhat middling "Robot Jox" (1989). So break out the champagne and give this episode a listen!
