A Supersized THSP Episode!!!
Aloha, fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you our second episode dedicated to the wild and wacky genre films from the legendary Empire Pictures. That special carnival barker Charles Band once again graces us with his early brand of cinematic cheese and we will forever be grateful to him for doing so. Listen in as your hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig dive into killer-puppet territory with "Ghoulies" (1984) and then tackle a more "mature" level of melodrama/science fiction/action with "Ghost Warrior" (1984; aka "Swordkill"). And fear not, for 'special guest star' and all around jokester Marc L. Rissmann from 'Sequel This!' joins in on the "Ghoulies" festivities, providing merriment and mirth for the hosts and the audience (hopefully!!!). Plus, this episode might take the cake for Chris Koenig providing the GREATEST stupid news article of 2021 for all to hear! Tune in to find out!

Happy Valentine’s Day, fans! That Horror Show Podcast has a special episode lined up for all you romantics there, especially for the ladies. Oh, la la! Your lovable hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig are ready to serenade you with their review of “The Love Witch” (2016), a film that combines both “love” and “witch” together into a wild cocktail of romance and deadly horror! And, would you believe it, out of all the not-so-hot Valentine’s themed horror your hosts have tackled over the years, “The Love Witch” has managed to win their hearts. Doubt us? Listen in for the review. But wait: that is not all! Also included in this special episode is none other than the triumphant return of the ‘What Have We Watched’ segment. Yes, it’s been dormant since last year, but we decided to bring it back for this outing: listen in as Chris Koenig projectile vomits all over “Jojo Rabbit” (2019), while Timothy Kazda gives Kurt Russell a little love by talking about “The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two” (2020). Finally another holiday added bonus the long awaited return of the 'Kidz Corner' segment with Nate, where he discusses "Ghostbusters II" (1989). Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Happy New Years, fans! That Horror Show Podcast is back and refreshed for 2021 and boy do we have a spectacular lineup for you. For this entire season, the dynamic duo Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig are embarking on a retrospective of 80s horror and sci-fi movies produced by Empire Pictures! Originally founded in 1984 by that cinema huckster Charles Band, Empire cranked out some of the most off-beat genre films ever conceived until the studio's sad demise in 1988. And while Band would go off to form Full Moon Entertainment in the early 1990s with his company still going strong to this present day, the 80s era of Empire was an interesting and far more engaging time for Charlie's brand of exploitation entertainment. Therefore, for this January episode, we tackle the "The Alchemist" (1981, released in 1985) and "The Dungeonmaster" (1984)! How do these two films fare with your fine hosts? Tune in and find out!

Happy Holidays, fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you our standard Christmas-themed horror episode and we hope you'll enjoy this one. Your hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have woken from their sleep to find the Christmas tree filled with presents and not a lump of coal in any of their stockings. In other words: Santa Claus is a fan of ours and we wouldn't have it any other way. And speaking of presents, for this light episode Tim and Chris were searching for a Christmas-themed horror movie for review and we were directed to "Mercy Christmas" (2017). It's a film that teaches you about the Christmas spirit and love for your fellow man...featuring some cannibals as well! So what do your hosts think about this holiday-themed film? Well, grab some egg-nog and stand under the mistletoe, and listen in to find out! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Happy Thanksgiving, fans! It's that time of year and you know what that means? That Horror Show Podcast proudly presents its annual Thanksgiving-themed horror episode featuring your booze-laden hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig. And also joining us at the table is none other than special guest Dave Rodriguez from "Sequel This!". So while the hosts bring out the turkey and cranberry sauce (and plenty of red wine on hand to get your hosts thru this episode in one piece), and while Dave once again laments that he was roped into another holiday-themed horror episode, what awful piece of Thanksgiving-themed horror has been unearthed for dissection? Well, it's a little horror-thriller called "Kristy" (2014) that managed to...well, you gotta listen to find out. And yes, as per tradition, Dave provides the synopsis. Gobble, gobble.

Greetings and salutations, fans! That Horror Show Podcast brings you yet another awesome episode to grace your ear-lobes with. Your hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig tackle a kind-of different horror genre...the superhero genre! Wait a minute!? You thought superhero movies were just all about the good guy going toe-to-toe against the bad guys, right? Well, for the two movies the hosts tackle for this episode, there is just a wee touch of horror laced in them. So sit back and enjoy as the hosts talk about "Freaks" (2018) and "Brightburn" (2019). But wait, that's not all! Participating in this special episode is special guest Josh Tank Thompson of 'The Junk Drawer Podcast' to offer his take on these two films.

Hey MOL Fans, thank you for sticking with us. We appreciate your support as always, we are diving into Season 2: Episode 3: "Bloodlust " and Episode 4: "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things". There is a teensy bit of audio issues on Katie's side with some echoing which comes and goes throughout the episode and some other minor Skype audio issues . We are working on correcting that issue moving forward. Other than that Tim in this episode sounds like he may have sampled GOD'S Lettuce but that cannot be confirmed or denied. So tune into the fun that is Supernatural and tell your friends that Men of Letters or MOL is back and we hope to have another episode available to everyone before 2020 is out. lol
